So i got home today and found my laptop with a black screen that wouldnt turn on, when I connect it to the monitor there is no signal the monitor does not even react. after turning it off and on a few more times the fans max out and then the computer starts beeping and the lights on the left of the keyboard flash on and off. its the computer in signature. anyways if anyone knows if its dead based on what ive posted please post, or if there is trick to bring it back that would be awesome. Ive got a 3 year warranty so im still covered, but I use this laptop for school and work so its still an issue.

the oven trick works most of the time but as hes still covered by warranty i would avoid that option and rma it back for repair.
repairing using the oven will defo void the rest of yourr warranty so its not worth it one bit.

did you have any lines on the screen before it went black.

Sounds like he left it on while out and it was off when he got back. Call malibal.

If you're under warranty, don't bake it. Send it in rather than risk the reflow not working and then being out of a warranty as well.

Sorry i dont post back sooner, the malibal rep emailed me back within 10 minutes at 10pm on a sunday night, then got me a shipping slip, I shipped it back already. I wasnt around when it died, but the fan maxed out and the screen would not light up and the external display outputs had no signal so im fairly certain its the gpu.

Sounds pretty likely but something major happened regardless.
