Due to my new love of Kitesurfing, I have decided to sell this beast and downgrade to something a bit more simpler. I have found that i no longer really play games that much except for the low spec EVE online, so im wasting all the resources that this laptop can provide.
The specs are in my sig.
I still have the box and all of the documents and coverings on the laptop, so its like getting a new one.

I was thinking of something around the 2000mark (in euro)
If anyone is interested, give me a PM.

You should get a Vaio FW with a 3650 after you sell it.

    Good luck with the sale!

TBH, I think you will have to come down on the price, since you can currently get this notebook new in the UK for about the same price (1.6k pounds from kobalt = 2k euros [same specs]).

    Hi there Helios.
The big mentor of the M860TU now getting appart from it... :(

As Laube says, unless someone does not know better, you will never be able to sell the laptop for that much. That's the price of the brand new computer.

Why don't you talk to Kobalt and explain them your situation? Maybe they will buy it from you to sell it as a refurb... maybe not.
Obviously, you are going to lose quite a bit of money in this...

Why not just keep it? I mean seriously, you waited this long for the laptop, went through so much hell from different companies, just to sell it? Who cares if you don't game that much? The laptop in itself is futureproof for a good few years.

But that's my two cents. I'm just someone who thought that when you put this much money into an investment, a lot of time, research and thought went into the purchase before considering it. I could hardly think something like this could be an 'impulse' buy. But, different strokes for different folks I guess.

The price is too high, its lost some value just by the mere fact you used it. So you need to drop it a bit.

2000euros seems a bit much, my 9262 cost me under £1000 but shipping tax and normal tax added like £300 :(

Aha, after all the fuss before he got it I'm sure this is all joke to see how many Helio' can fool... ;)

    ...right? You're serious?

Well if you are I have to kick off by saying that Laube and ArmageddonAsh are right. Even though it hasn't been used that much, it'll still be second hand and you really can't expect to sell it that high, or at least not until GT's are completely out of stock.

How much did the rig originally cost you?

There's nothing wrong with it. People have their own reasons for selling it. And I suspect a large amount of reasons can be based on the 'latest and greatest' feeling that came with the laptops long overdue release now to be overshadowed by the OCZ whitebook.

If you are in the market for a 15.4 inch with the power of a high end 17" laptop. Then this is the laptop for you.

    Laube, they know nothing! :)
You wont regreat getting it... I can almost promise you.
It's an impressive machine and the best on the 15'' front. I doubt there will be any new 15'' coming out soon to completely out shadow the M860TU.

Of course technology never stops... but if that will prevent you from gettin a given computer at a point of your life... you will NEVER get a computer!

I mean... just compare this laptop to all of the laptops being delivered by other manufacturers...
There's no comparison at all. This beauty packs a punch that is not achieved by any (appart from the m15x)... And I can bet, only a release from Clevo or AW will out compete the M860TU.

Bottom line... this laptop is amazing and, although not perfect (what is perfect anyways!?), it's a very good laptop.
