    Hello all,

I have a Sager 9260 with a 7950 GTX that I purchased a while back. Just looking for some additional graphic performance before I do another full blown system purchase.

I found someone with 7950 GTX SLI setup ( motherboard and 2x cards ).

My question is, if I have a system with a single card, can I just take one of his two cards, insert it in my system, hopefully do some minor driver configuration and have everything magically work?

I've read elsewhere that these cards need a specific SLI enabled bios. Just was wondering if anyone has any first hand experience or any input to provide. Would be much appreciated.

    Thanks a lot.

In theory that is all it takes. You install the card(s), update your driver and enable SLi.

As ARGH states give Sager or your seller a call and they can help walk you through the installation. :)

You will more than likely have to flash the cards vbioses to the same (sli compatible) version, but that is easily available from clevo here

You will need a SLI ribbon also.
