I'm planning to format and install 32bit after having 64bit due to several crashes. I want to try out 32bit. What I want to know is will there be any issues with the fingerprint reader or any other features when I install it?
Also, is there a clear guide I can follow to install it? Because I haven't installed an OS before and I want to make sure I know what I am doing and not screw up.

You don't say what model notebook you have, but Vista 32 should work so long as there are drivers available. Here is a great resource to use when you are trying to install Windows:
http://www.windowsreinstall.com/
The Vista Home Basic guide is here:
http://vistahomebasic.windowsreinstall.com/installnewhdd/installnewhdd.htm
Hope that helps. -
I have a Sager 2090. Thanks for the links.
