I'm looking to upgrade from 2gb to 4gb i got the ram but i cant seem to figure out this whole installing bit. Everyother laptop i upgraded ram with there was a specific compartment to open for ram . Is that not the case with the np5796? i just see one big compartment to open and i d rather not be removing the whole back of this thing. Any help would be appreciated...

All of the critical components are under that big panel. Just take the time to remove the screws and remove the panel. The RAM will be right before your eyes.
