When a reseller charges extra for integrated bluetooth what does this mean?

Most likely they mean a wireless card other than the stock intel card; which includes bluetooth and wifi: such as killer wifi/nic or intel ultimate series.

Some WiFi cards (such as the Intel 6300 or Killer 1103) don't include Bluetooth support on the card. This is generally the trade off you make for having up to a 450Mbp/s throughput with these cards.

Some models support the addition of a small Bluetooth module that is completely separate from the WiFi card, allowing you to have both the fastest wireless speeds available and Bluetooth functionality.

I hope this clears it up for you. Feel free to PM me directly if you have other questions.

The EM series aren't one of them. If you need Bluetooth, you need a combo card and therefore made the right call.
