    Hi everybody,

i purchased a OEM Intel 2760QM a few weeks ago on ebay - system runs normal, no BSOD or something like that for a long time - gaming etc. no problem. But i looked after my Hardware because i was OC'ing my 7970m then i saw @ HWInfo Information, that my TM1 and TM2 functions are supported but disabled, also the TDC/TDP Limit.

    Here is pic:

I don't know if the TM1/TM2 and the TDC/TDP Limit were disabled the whole time since i purchased the cpu, should i get rid of it? Temps are looking fine, speedstep etc. is working for me.. very very curious.

    Thank you!

    yours

I will look after that when i'm at home tonight and repost it.
Thought that it could be a chipset driver issue, cause i wanted to update the series 6 drivers three times, but with two newer drivers the system said that there is an incompatability?!
Also yesterday i installed a new version of the Intel WiFi drivers for my 6230 WLAN - during the installation of these drivers, windows reported that it has found a driver for Intel Thermal Monitor? This can not be normal or?

It's all loading the respective microcode, so no problems no matter what is reported...some things are just blocked on BIOS level as it is intended by the manufacturer... ;)
