Anyone know where I could find a Vista drver for the Intel AC 7260? I've searched around, even on Intel's page. Only Win7 and above.. Really need it as my NP8278 has Vista installed.
I know, I know. I just like Vista.

    Any ideas?

For giggles, have you tried installing the Windows 7 drivers?
A lot of time you see drivers are for Vista/Windows 7.

Vista is pretty much just Windows 7 beta :)

In fact, is there any reason you are using Vista over Windows 7? I test drove Vista when it was beta for a company, and Windows 7 feels like a much more polished and much MUCH more stable Vista :)

The windows 7 driver has a good chance of working, I agree that 7 is a worthy upgrade too.

Douglas, did the Windows 7 driver work for Vista? I'm looking at ordering the 7260 card, and I'll be using it with Vista 32-bit, Windows 10, 64-bit (I think the 8.1, 64-bit driver will work), and Linux Mint 17.1, 64-bit.

Interesting, is this for testing for a company with a wide range of OSs?

I got a second-hand, though rather new pc that had an unused Vista DVD, and I wanted a working Windows machine, so I installed that. I know Vista has long had problems, and the Windows 10 preview was looking good, so I installed that. And I'm used to Linux and it usually suffices, so I installed that.

    My install notes are here:

Interesting, well from my reading then since intel has dropped support of vista it may be tricky to get things working properly.
