Hi all - the above SSDs are apparently going to be released on March 28th: Intel First 25nm SSD On March 28th, Pricing Unveiled - VR-Zone.com

Any thoughts on when they'll become an option on resellers' configurators?

It'll apparently have higher random 4k read/write speeds than both the X25M and the 510 G2 series, but slower sequential read/write speeds than the 510 series (higher than the X25M). For gaming, I'm thinking these are the best of the 3 options.

The 510 appeared in Clevo's shortly after the launch, should be similar this time, IMHO.

If it launches on March 28th, you'll most likely get it cheapest from Newegg, and as such most of the resellers will allow you to ship Newegg purchases to them to install for you. This works if either they aren't willing to procure it themselves or it is just plain cheaper to get it from Newegg.

There is one particular reseller that just so happens to throw up new stuff on their configurators sooner than others, usually all it takes is someone asking.

Yes, it is supposed to be today. I haven't seen any tracking or shipping confirmation as of yet though. I was told that it was getting the final testing yesterday.

Haha, well not for me anyways. It'll take about 3-4 weeks for me to receive mine after it ships as I am overseas with the military. My investment is mostly for when I return anyways since I won't be able to connect it to the internet until I get back home.
