When I tried to download the Intel Matrix Storage Driver, it said that my system did not meet the required specifications. I am currently using win xp. Any ideas?

*I remember a guy presenting this same problem not too long ago, but I can't seem to find it.*

Are there any other tips for an xp user to keep hdd heat down?

    Thanks.

Haha, that was my post. Lotsa problems i had. Ok so step by step:

    1) Download drivers
    2) Install the appropriate driver, ICH9M
    3) Restarting the computer, access bios (F2 i believe)
    4) Go to advanced tab
    5) Change your operating system from xp -> vista, this doesn't change your os at all
    6) After changing to vista, there should be a new option, select ahci
