    Hi folks,

So I'm experiencing a very strange problem and I would like to know if any of you guys also have the problem.

    I'm using a P150HM with a 2nd hard drive (using a caddy)
If my caddy hard drive is plugged in then all of my USB ports become *really* slow. As soon as I take the drive out again then the USB works fine.

I'm thinking this might be a bug in the Intel Rapid Storage Technology drivers.
Is anyone using the latest version (10.6.0.1022) from Intel?
Have you experienced any problems upgrading to this driver version?

    Thanks,
    - Drax

    Hi Patrick,

    Thanks for your help :)
Can you (or anyone else) explain this 'Intel Chipset Device Software' driver version oddity?

Latest available on the Intel website: v9.2.0.1030 (4/21/2011)
    http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Sea...ipsets&ProductProduct=IntelĀ®+6+Series+Chipset

Latest available on the Clevo website: v9.2.0.1021
    CLEVO - Download

Latest available in the Cleve drivers thread: v9.2.3.1017 (6/16/11)
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/sager-clevo/573379-clevo-driver-thread.html

Why is the version in the driver thread such a higher version number?
Are we sure this is for the HM65 chipset?

(I'm going to repost this in the Clevo driver thread - hope nobody minds)

    Hi Patrick,

Your suggestion of updating the Renesas drivers fixed my problem.
Many, many thanks for your help :)
Having slow USB was driving me crazy as I use it a lot.
