Is it worth getting for a Sager 2090?

Jury is still out. Some have posted benefits. There are a ton of threads about Robson. I got, but I ordered a long time ago. I'd probably still get it unless I was close to my spending limit.

Given a choice betten spending my last $40 on a second gig of ram and getting Robson, I'd get the ram - no question.

Yeah I think Donsell nails it in the head, if you had to trade off some part like HDD or RAM for Robson, I don't think it's worth it, but if you have the budget for it, I suppose it couldn't do any harm if money's no factor.

Yeah, the jury's still out, but everyone is drooling to see what happens when Vista SP1 has a whack at Robson. M$ is promising all the things they promised the first time around about it, but ACTUALLY doing it.

I personally have mixed feelings about it; right now its as those above said. Eventually however, it might be a decent performance upgrade if the support is there.

Can't hurt to have it, eh?

It has turbo in the name.

Case closed its worth the 40 dollars if you have to prostitute yourself to get it.

I ordered it without robson. Can I add it in myself later on?

Check out the IFL-90 disassembly guide for details on how to install Robson yourself, but of course, this may involve risk in your part so be careful when doing so.

Hmm, I can't find robson for sale separately. I'll try to email the seller if I can still add it in. Worst comes to worst I should be able to disable it in bios or windows?

In Windows XP it'll come up as an "unrecognized device", and will do nothing. In Vista, I'm not so sure. Personally, I'm going to wait until Vista SP1 and see what the verdict is on Robson before taking the dive to get one myself.

Yea I was thinking that too but I don't expect it to cost much less than what it'll cost now, ~35-40$.
