    Hey guys,

I've had this problem for a while now, and it's really annoying. About every 10s or so, my ping will spike up to the thousands in ventrilo (and this is especially noticable in games like Counter-Strike). I'm running Windows 7 64-bit; does anyone know of a solution? I don't even know what causes this.

I've tried software like Vista Anti-Lag and WLANOptimizer, but to no avail. I've messed around with the settings on my wireless card and router. I've tried updating drivers for both as well. Nothing works! Do I really need to go back to Windows XP?

I ran a ping tester and found that the spikes happen basically exactly every 10.2s or so.
