Intel XTU Clevo P651RP6-G

Clevo P651RP6-G (Hyperbook SL502 VR) - Intel i7 6700HQ and GTX 1060 (MB Series P65xRP, ME FW Version 11.0.18.1002, BIOS Version 1.05.10 and KBC/EC Firmware Revision 1.05.08)

I have a problem with XTU on my laptop. I can't use profiles, I can create one but after i can't use it, also after restart It can reeboot twice and every time after reboot i have set stock settings and a notification after run a XTU.

There is a way to repair it / fix it or no ? Also if I will install Prema BIOS i will have this problem solved ?

 

Can you please follow my signature and try my Control Station?
It includes a tab called "Power Modes", enable it in the Settings tab.
Let me know if those 4 modes is enough for what you are trying to achieve.

 

Isn't @Kinsogu 's ME FW really old?

 

I think it is. Hyperbook can't even give me bios updates to install, so I asked them that if you can't send me it so maybe i will visit you and you will do this -> I was there and they said that i have the newest version haha xD

It an awsome software!!! wow <3 Unfortunately it's not working. I was changeing settings, trying to do sth. So : XTU stoped working, when i open it it's blank after installation. I was trying to undervolt in you application but it's not working too, also I added in settings to start up with Windows and it isn't workig as well + Keybord LED isn't working, hmm all of the circles aren't working.
PS Yesterday I did clean instalation of Win 10

 

Ok. Maybe you can update to latest MEFW using Prema's ME 11 Tool.
John at Obsidian: is it safe to update ME FW to latest version? I'm not familiar with steps to update Prema BIOS.

Add/Use TS instead of XTU.

 

I don't have Prema BIOS. I have Clevo/Hyperbook one. I will contact Prema, hope that someone will help me.

What does it mean "TS" ?

Control Station is just that panel, the circles in the top will not work unless you install them (they are different apps that can be found in my signature), but please notice are not free, only Control Station and Keyboard LED are free, so i would focus first on solving your Undervolt issue. And if you sort out WHY your XTU is not working then you can just use Control Station profiles and you are all good.

Basically, Control Station is just an interface to control XTU (you need to have it installed) and it can kill the XTU service after applying values (that´s the stop XTU service checkbox), the advantage of Control Station is that it allows for Power Modes profiles, and that´s it for now.

ME is one thing, BIOS is another.
You can indeed update the ME, just follow Prema thread, all the instructions are there, very easy process.
BIOS version 1.05.10 is indeed the latest for the P650RP6.
Are you using other software like Throttlestop? Because XTU can go crazy when you have multiple apps like that. Usually disabling them and Loading Setup Defaults will clear that up.

Everythink is working perfectly !!! <3 I updated INFINEON TPM, ME and did fresh installation of Windows 10 + I installed all of the software from Obsidian and from Updater I installed drivers ^^ Thank you @ Vasudev and @ John@OBSIDIAN-PC !!
