    hello everyone,

i have a Clevo W355SSQ with the wifi card from intel model ac 7260 and windows 10,

lately I've been having some issues, the connection drops while the wifi bars are full and moments after the wifi card completely disappears from my device list, I've tried with updated drivers, and completely removing the drivers, and it still happens. Even after rebooting it doesn't comes back to life, only after its shutdown for a while.

I've tried troubleshooting this issue, it doesn't seem to be software related but i cant find the source of the problem, any ideias?

ps: sorry for my english, its not my native language

If you are comfortable doing so you could try to reseat the wireless card and see if that will fix it up, could be a bad connection that is causing it to drop like that.

Did you perform an upgrade install or a full install of Windows 10? (I ask because I've seen a similar driver issue with a different card on an upgrade, but not on a full install.)

i think it might be that since i think it happens in some movements, i'm comfortable but i dont know where it is, i already opened all covers on the back but didnt found it, can you help me with that? i also still have warranty from the my reseller but i would like to avoid sending it to them.

edit: just found the disassembly guide, its under the keyboard, i will try that

i did an upgrade but it was working well after upgrading

You may want to double check the connection - both the card itself and the antennae. I'm guessing this is more likely a software problem, though.

Did you check any of the advance settings (in the device manager, right click for properties, then the settings in that screen)? I'd make sure it is using all bands, and power settings are set up. Maybe check some of the other settings. Also, could check the advance power settings to make sure that the wireless card is at full power and not in a battery saving mode. Not sure if those might be the case, but I know it could cause some issues. Instead of uninstall/re-install on the drivers, maybe just repair the Intel Proset tools in the add/remove software control panel.
