I am going to order a sager laptop very soon (NP 9772 or Np 8278s) with 6gb gtx 970m graphics

I will be using it for games mostly, my question is should I go for ci7 4710mq or 4790k

Will 4710mq be enough for games like Dying light, Assasins creed unity, gta 5 and upcoming games because I m going to use the laptop for 3 to 4 years.

And can I replace CPU after ( 1 t0 2 years) with another one once i bought laptop?

will gtx 970m enough for games ?

970m is enough and 4790k is very unnecessary for gaming and it is overheating and it throttled.
    So i say 170 sm-a :)

For games IMO you best bet would be the 4710MQ. Has more than enough horsepower for games. In regard for graphics, also IMO see if you can get the 980. If you're really slick get the 980 in SLI. Graphics is generally more of a limiting factor than is CPU horsepower

4710MQ isn't going to be enough in long term.. Get the 4810MQ if your'e going 8278 way..

Can I upgrade my CPU afterwards, once I bought the 8278s? Is GTX 970m enough for gaming or Should I go for GTX980m?

And 4710qm is enough for games now and it will be enough later
With dx 12,cpu role will be less than dx11 in games

Yes I also heard that 4790k has over heating problems and not good for gaming.

4790K with good paste and a non-warped heatsink and especially max fans won't throttle in games. People keep testing with prime 95 and stuff.

Next, you CAN change the heatsink on the SM-A models. If you buy a 4710MQ now you can buy a 4810MQ or 4910MQ later. It's socketed, so no worries.

The 4710mq will suit most people, the 4800 series is good for tweakers. The 4710mq can get up to 3.5ghz when tweaked which is fine for most stuff.

So should I go for 4710mq with gtx 970 or Gtx 980? And are there overheating issues with 4710mq or 4810mq or 4910 mq?

Since I don't use an optical drive much and like to tweak/change hardware I would personally go for the NP9772, both are excellent choices though and the 970M offers great bang for the buck, you wont be sad when you see what it can do.

I am not sure wether I will go for GTX 980M, it cost me 300$ more than Gtx 970m and I cant afford it . I think I will go with GTX 970m

The 4710MQ should be plenty CPU for games, most of the performance will be dependent on the GPU.

Yes it's a fine partner to the 970m, you can still add a +200 mhz clock to it too.

GTX 970M should be fine to play games at high settings. Current game development is console first and both Sony and Microsoft opted to use horrible AMD APUs... We're not going to be seeing any leaps in graphics for a long time. For PC if it's intensive, it's going to be superficial things like, 4K resolution, tessellation, hair animations or supersampling (image rendered at a higher resolution and then downsampled, the current best AA method).

The major difference and the reason why I opted for 980M is 980M 256bit and 970M is 192bit. My previous machine with 675MX was 256bit also, it's the major reason why 675MX was such a great GPU for it's price.
