What most of you do not understand is what we need is a freakin' OPEN BIOS. Everything else will be possible afterwards, trust me, a lot of mods will be able to open options that weren't shown in the open official BIOS... Prema will show his true form :p

I think that what we need first is a driver or bios update that will fix those enduro and unutilization issues. When you cant game properlly on a gameing laptot whats the meaning of it..

An open bios 'accidentally' leaked would be awesome.

This is sparking less interest than I had thought..

    Any more Enduro problems?

Well this seemed more like a place to list the options. Enduro has been listed already. I thought you were collecting issues for the petition, then people will sign an actual petition..

I guess I could do it that way, I'll see what I can do.

Thanks for the link, looks promising.

I'm not sure who to target the petition to though for results, Sager or Clevo.

I'm thinking Clevo, but for faster results, we could send it to Sager.

Lets go through Sager first, we should get some decent answer on what is possible and what Clevo doesn't want.

Later on we should get a official Clevo answer.. better off focusing on someone who WILL answer us :)

Flashed to the latest BIOS. They added fn+1 function, but my cpu fan idle speed is even more messed up now. It sounds like its going at 50%. I can use fn+1 to bring it down silent, but it starts spinning up even though I am doing nothing. Idle temps 40-50c

I agree w/ Jaug. From what I've been able to gather from Sager and other posted emails from Clevo during the 7970m issues with the P150HM, it looks like Clevo has no interest in dealing w/ end-users, and trying to communicate with them goes nowhere.

My suggestion is to start with Sager, and see where that road takes you.

This is personally the most important issue to me. It's a gaming laptop, so it needs to be able to use the full capabilities of the 7970m. I paid good money to get good fps.

    (Enduro/driver)
Actually same, I also have low FPS in Blackshark1, lower than a 280M.

These new drivers is a must - as soon as possible. When you open the sager section here on nbr every second thread is about issues with driver's or enduro on 17EM's and 150EM's.

Not enough interest to drive a petition to be honest....

Closing the thread.. It is indeed a small number of people..
