Hello all, I'm interested in buying the X7200, but I'm not sure which reseller I should get it from. It seems like there's quite many out there. I'm leaning towards XoticPC because their price seems about right for what I want, but I'm interested in SLI 470M, which doesn't seem like it's provided by any reseller currently.

I'm also interested in 3D and HDMI input, but it doesn't seem like either of these are available either.

Can someone make any recommendations on which resellers offer the best bang for the buck as far as X7200's go?

Just a note, most US resellers of the Clevo x7200 or Sager NP7280 only have the nVidia 460M's or the nVidia 485M's. The 470M's are no longer available for this model.

Also this is true of the HDMI in port. This feature Sager has said does not give FULL 1080P so they are not providing it in this model as well.... :)

There isn't a 3D screen available for this model either, it does have HDMI 1.4 out so you can output to a 3D external monitor/TV

Mythlogic can correct me if I'm wrong, but they may be able to install a 3D screen for you. The downside is that outside of the 1080p screen on the Asus 3D model, all other laptop screens that I've seen do 3D are 720p, not 1080p. I checked with them on adding it to my 8150, but wasn't interested in the drop in res. They may have the larger x7200 screen in 1080p for you that they can do as a special order though, I'd PM them.

The HDMI input is special to Alienware at the moment I think, I haven't seen it advertised anywhere else.

I think Dell provides 1080p 3D screens at 17" range, but I think it's proprietary to them. I haven't seen or heard that screen trickle to the consumer market yet for people like us to be able to purchase.

Still, I could be wrong and there could be possibly be a route to get them though.
