    Hello.
I Just came across a very very strange problem today.

I noticed the problem a couple of weeks ago, when suddenly the computer would not find an internet connection when cabled to the router. But if i connected to it wireless (with the cable in), I got both internet, and the stability of cable (no ping spikes or anything).
Tried to re install the Realtek Lan driver, but nothing changed.
Today it could not find get connected to internet even when i connected to the wireless (Internet still worked fine on my phone at the same time).
But then when i connected my phone which is connected to the router, everything worked perfectly? So is both my wireless and Lan driver/card broken?

Could be Malware blocking the connections. Download and run Malwarebytes to see it if picks up anything.

Tried it, did not change anything (But I actually had 3 malwares, so thanks).
Found the problem, the settings inside my wireless card was set to connect to 127.0.0.1. Do not know if the Malware did this tho.
    Thank you :)

Possibly, it's the sort of setting they fiddle with.

I need help regarding this too if anyone can help.

So I turned on my computer in order to eject Bluray bay to get the disc in it and while Windows still loading I turn it off... I was in a hurry xD

Got back to it later with windows asking if I want to run a check since it never finished loading as I knew it would, wanting to just skip it but clicked on the wrong one so windows run tests, which I let it run. Finished, I continue to run windows like normal, but Network Adapter isn't working. The left light indicator that indicates wireless internet is off. It's on when I boot, when windows loads, but once it goes to user password it goes off. I tried windows troubleshooting it doesn't work. I tried Sager control center (it's P170sm if it makes any difference) where I usually can turn mg wireless on/off... doesn't work... I know there are internet connections because my phone works and it find neighbors' connection too. My wireless can't find any so it has to be the adapter... is it possible turning off my laptop while windows running break the adapter? I've done that quite a few times and it usually just go to windows boot option... any ideas that can help me? Thanks!

Edit: I just tried running Intel manual diagnostic tool, and the first test, hardware test, failed with "wireless hardware is not bound to transport driver" message...help?

Edit 2: Nevermind it is now working... I don't even know what I did, I unplugged everything and was trying to find out if it has a manual Wireless adapter button, can't find any, turn it back on and it worked... I don't think it was because of hard reset either as I already tried that. The past couple of months my internet connection has been very shady... sometimes when I moved the laptop a few inches to another direction (I'm not exaggerating) the connection would die and resume after a couple of minutes... I always thought it's AT&T, now I'm not so sure... I'm guessing my Network adapter's dying? Is it replaceable if that's the case?

Glad you both got them working again.

Samchanchan11, sounds like a reboot is all you needed. I run into that occasionally too and it takes care of the problem. If the wireless card is going bad it is replaceable. You should message your reseller to get help setting that up.

OK cool :). If you ever feel like changing the wireless card out you can open a service ticket on our site under the contact page. Its pretty easy to do if you're comfortable with upgrading computer parts. Very similar to replacing a stick of RAM.
