Around last January, I returned my 5793 to Sager since I had a blank screen. They repaired it and said they had to replace a faulty inverter.

Well last month the inverter went bad again and since I am still taking classes until the end of next month, I am using an external monitor to do my assignments.

I will get an RMA and return the 5793 to Sager again to let them see why the inverter would fail so soon. It is a good thing that I got the three year warranty as I really like the notebook but without the warranty, I would be paying a lot for out of warranty service.

The notebook sits on top of a good cooling pad and does not get too hot so I am really puzzled as to why I am having these display issues.
