    Hi,

I have recently dug out Assassin's Creed Rogue to play on my Clevo P150HM upgraded to 680M. I then connected the laptop to my TV via HDMI. Oddly enough, the laptop can output 1080p60 signal when in Windows desktop, but switches to 1080p24 when launching the game. Needless to say, this results is quite choppy animation.
Is this the game being funny, or is 1080p60 with sound too much for the HDMI 1.4? Thanks for the info in advance!

Have you tried any other games? Crysis has a similar issue where at resolutions of 1080p and above it caps the frame rate at 24. The way around this is to create a custom resolution in the NVIDIA control panel. In your case, try 1916x1080 at 60 Hz and set the game to it.

No, it should certainly do sound too :)

There is no bandwidth difference between a game at 60hz with sound and your desktop at 60hz with sound.

Thanks! I did try Doom and it works with sound at 1080p60, so it seems like AC: Rogue is being at fault here.
