My m860tu don't have that problem. But it can be good that it's falling off easy. Say that your dog or someone in your family walk on your cable, then its falls of easy and don't take your whole computer with it.

no its not just yours Win3k
mine has been like it since i got it but i only notice it if its moved. on my desk its fine but as soon as i move it it falls out.
contact your supplier as i think you could have a faulty socket.

Yeah, same here. I hated it. Every time I move it falls off. My AC adapter looks very cheap and it gets very hot sometimes.
Thanks, Mr.DJ now I know it's not my fault. cheers

Same here... its a global trend. Make sure you force it a bit to make sure it's properly connecte (and to minimize the plug coming off).

The new AC adapters have a much tighter fit. Ask for a replacement.

Win3k, let me relay a personal anecdote from not five minutes ago:

I brought my laptop downstairs from upstairs, as it's slightly cooler in the basement and I wanted to run some performance tests. Yesterday I was getting between 30 and 70 FPS on 3DMark06, after running a test today I was getting 17 average. Naturally I started flipping out. I made about 12 trips up and downstairs including with and without the cooler to try and figure out how a couple of degrees ambient temp could impact so greatly.

... needless to say after checking the back of my cooler and laptop and discovering that I could see a sliver of the silver sleeve of the AC connecter poking out I was both relieved and frustrated at the same time!

my laptop is one-week new, so I doubt the design has improved any :(

I dont have the problem either... I thought it could be a Sager problem, but some non-sager owners also have the problem, so I do not know. Why dont you try using tape or something!? Some kind of crazy mod.
