I am just curious if I should be waiting a few more weeks or not. I can wait, I just don't want to :D

Yes. In the past years they usually show new stuff at CES and CeBIT. Though this year they decided to reveal their new systems at Computex because of the delay Intel imposed on the notebook industry. They're probably just going to show the same notebooks that are in production now, but with the Arrandale CPU's and the GTX 380M.

Hmmm... I was going to purchase the Clevo W765TUN (NP7650) but noticed they have a newer model (W765CU) on the Clevo website which uses Core i7. I wonder what the chances are that this upgraded model will be shown or offered?

So how long would one have to wait after CES for the GTX 380M to start showing up in clevo laptops? Because I would really like a Clevo W870CU with a 380M or ATI HD5870 :(

We'll probably be waiting 2-3 months at the very least, but I'd say, don't rush - it's worth waiting since a nice refresh is coming.

w00t! I just got word from a retailer that the W765CU will be available in January. The upgraded chipset and video card from the G105m to the ATI 4570 should make it more appealing so I think I'll wait it out.

Whatever it is called, GTX 285M or GTX 380M, Clevo is going to debut it at the next electronics expo. Like Aikimox said, the lead time to notebooks actually being equipped with the new technology is usually a few months.

To be honest, if the performance of the next Nvidia chipsets are not great as expected, and Clevo stick exclusively Nvidia, they're gonna get steamrollered in the high end department, why on earth would anyone buy a gaming/performance machine with weaker components than the competition :(

The early indications are the ATI cards are going to be a much stronger setup, and unless theres money under the table I'd be surprised if Clevo miss the opportunity. But we shall see...
