    Last time I checked: Yes. Based in Korea.

    I don't recognize it. It looks a lot like one of the N series models, but I don't think it is.

    I'm not finding it on the Clevo site, but those look an awful lot like the Clevo hotkeys layout.

    @sicily428 and all

    The company is called Schenker Technologies GmbH (main company in Germany) hence one of our two main brands is SCHENKER (workstations, office, ultrabooks etc etc) and the other you'll all be more familiar with is XMG (gaming orientated, high performance), There is an overlap in some products which use the same chassis in both XMG and SCHENKER guise, but there are quite a few differences between these and also there's quite a few chassis in the SCHENKER range which aren't in the XMG.

    The SCHENKER S306 you have mentioned is not a Clevo chassis, it's another ODM.

    BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!

    The laptop in the photos in your first post is the new Clevo N130BU. This will be sold by us as part of our SCHENKER range - the VIA 13. We should be able to start shipping towards the end of April. We've been testing the chassis since November last year but just have a little more fine tuning (firmware, updated drivers etc) left to do, once this is complete we can release our stock onto the market ;-)

    MORE BREAKING NEWS!!!!!

    Yes it has TB support and the eGPU in that photo is validated with the N130BU chassis!!!!!

    For the ultimate extreme experience maybe but with a 1060 you can actually get a pretty decent gaming experience still.

    Hi

    Actually yes, I was on holiday over Easter but came back and it's been launched - but it is part of the SLIM range and not part of the VIA range as I was told in March. I can't link to the product directly as it's against reseller forum rules, but you can find it as the "Schenker SLIM 13" :) In stock and shipping for a week or so now.

    Out of curiosity, what sort of battery life are you getting with it?

    Maximum 7h 23m (and 29 seconds!!!) at idle, 4h 52m video playback (youtube streaming over WiFi). The 6h general usage as detailed on the product page is a good indication of word/exce;/internet browsing combination.

    Not too bad considering the weight/size/cost of the unit :)

    Awesome, thanks for the heads up. That's actually better than I expected considering the battery size. I'm looking for a good lightweight notebook for travel and this seems to hit all the marks for me.

    @XMG there are some opinions about noise issues (fan? ) with clevo N130BU/N131BU. Can you confirm such issues? If so are there any workarounds/solutions for that?

    thanks!!
