right this is about cleaning my Sager NP9262.

my first question is: Do you think the following site is safe to use?
    http://www.screenclean.co.uk/index.php
my second question is: Have you used the the compnay before?
my third question is: were there any problems with the compnay?

right now down to specifics. im looking at the following products from them http://www.screenclean.co.uk/micro_chamois.php and http://www.screenclean.co.uk/klear_screen_8oz_spray.php woudl these damage the 9262's screen in any way

do you reccomend any other cleaning product for the 9262?
what would the best screen protector for the laptop be?

For standard LCD screens (matte and glossy)
I recommend to use a good microfiber cloth (the kind you get with nice sunglasses or prescription glasses). If there are smudges, use a bit of moisture from a drop or so of water, then use that cloth to wipe it clean.

As for protectors, I got a InvisibleSHIELD for my screen. Now I can use whatever cloth to wipe anything without worrying that it would damage the original screen. :)

Its pretty nice.... and has a lifetime warranty.

hmm, might be a little overpriced. when i look at the prices of e.g. a microfibre cloth it looks 2-3 times the price you would normally pay.

about the cleaners, well i don´t think they will damage your lcd, but again it´s quite expensive. i usally do use a normal windows cleaner do clean my lcd. maybe it´s not good to use a windows cleaner, but i have not experienced a downside yet.
i think the cloth you are using for cleaning the lcd is way more important than the actual cleaner. get a good microfibre cloth and that should be enough.

    wow....
DO NOT use Windex (or any ammonia/ammonium based window cleaning products) on a notebook screen.... that goes double for alcohol (that is not diluted).

It will damage the notebook screen.

Use water and a cheap microfiber cloth that you can get anywhere, or from an old pair of glasses.

My friend got an invisibleSHIELD for his iPhone a while back.... it looks pretty new still.

You do not notice it much at all, it just adds a gloss over the surface that you are using it on.

    Either one is fine ArmageddonAsh....

Dont you have a electronics store nearby? Most electronic stores sell LCD screen cleaner and cloths for less than that...
