Is anyone running windows 8 consumer preview on their Sager? If so, how does it run? Ive run it on other computers and some have gone well while others have given me random freezes and other problems. I ordered my Sager with no OS so im debating whether to do 7 or 8.
    Thanks!

I would use Win7 x64. On my laptop I couldn't get MSI Afterburner to work in Win8 and certain games wouldn't open either.

My NIC would randomly stop working. But when it was I could see about twice as many networks as I normally can, in any location.

I went back to W7 x64, only because I swapped HDD's and I didn't want to migrate all my files.

Also I'm sorry but the new start menu/"Dashboard" annoyed the hell out of me. It took thirty minutes to find the Control Panel. Also next to impossible to activate/open with mouse.

I'm running it and it's fine. Windows 7 drivers work without a hitch in 8 so you'll have no problems installing anything. I even see minor performance boosts in games.

I've been running on Windows 8 for 2 months. I initially upgraded rather than clean installed, that was a terrible decision. After a clean install the only issues I ran into were BSOD's because of Bigfoots NIC driver and the stock Windows atheros drivers would cause kernel corruption after a few hours of running time. Bigfoot have said their not going to support W8 until its launch so yeah. Otherwise I've had no issues with W8 as far as development goes. VS2011 is nice too.
