Is download drivers from Clevo or MYSN the same?

Is downloading the drivers from Clevo or MYSN the same? Are they the exact same drivers for the exact same laptop?

Reason I ask is because with Clevo's site, it disconnects me if I use a download manager while downloading. Pretty sad really at this day and age for a manufacturer to limit the bandwidth of driver downloads but anyway, what do you think?

 

Also, I can't seem to find any guide on the recommended driver/utilities install order for Clevo, anyone has an idea?

 

The reason I ask is that half the drivers that I downloaded from Clevo directly, the zip file is corrupt, unprofessional Taiwanese junk

The first port of call for drivers should be the company that you bought the laptop from, it's their responsibility to provide drivers really. The Clevo download page is only really meant for backup, it wasn't intended to serve all Clevo owners AFAIK.

If the driver version is the same then the driver itself will be the same. The only differences are in EC (sometimes we have our own fan profile included) and BIOS from our site have the XMG splash screen.

The best install order is as listed on our website. It's not necessary to restart after each one, but following Chipset and graphics drivers is definitely recommended.

 

Yup, I use BIOS from manufacturer or PREMA custom. For drivers I used direct from Clevo except for Intel/Nvidia drivers.

 

I found this driver on the mysn.de driver page for my laptop model but couldn't find it on the Clevo drivers page,

What is this for and shall I install it since it isn't there on Clevo's site under my laptop's model?

That looks like something they might use on the PC, don't believe it is anything essential unless something isn't working properly.

 

No idea. Like Alex said, doesn't seem to be important. My machine runs fine without it.
