Will using DDU in normal boot mode have any harmful affect on my system? I do not know but, is that the reason or the reason is i cleaned older driver without safe mode & updated driver the latest version then my gpu temp rises 85c. when in game & %100 use. Before this happens, my gpu temp goes around max 73-75c.
did not changed anything. Using overclock fan profile as usual. Everthing is same as before as having this problem

The only risk is that drivers may become corrupted or conflict with the remnants of the previous set because Safe Mode allows DDU to clean all of the files in active use during normal operation. More than likely the swap of drivers is causing your your temp spike. Drivers change (like all pieces of software) from release to release and while Nvidia does try it's hardest to make the operation of your GPU better, faster, cooler, and more efficient they don't always succeed. The same goes with newer releases often breaking compatibility with older games.

Hello, thanks for the detailed reply. I guess that's might be true which is causing my gpu temp spike by the new nvidia driver. I used DDU again with safe mode cleaned driver then installed. (testing gpu temp on witcher 3 by the way) did not affect high temp. Will try sometime older driver and will test it again for exact result if it does really causing high temps. (sorry for bad english)

You're always best using the OEM spec Nvidia drivers. Those are the drivers that they test temps with. Any other driver you need to observe because they may cause spikes or drops in temp.
