    Is it possible to re-assign or disable specific function keys?

    Whoever put the Sleep function key between the volume and mute keys is a jackass. It's almost grounds to return the laptop on top of the speaker problem I'm having :|

    I'm sure you can find programs online that should let you customize the keys, I remember during my keyboard addicted days these programs could be easily found...

    I do have to apologize though. I did get a good chuckle out of imagining someones reaction to their laptop going to sleep when they simply meant to turn down the volume or mute it real quick!

    To be perfectly honest the sleep fn+f4 combination is something I would disable. I don't need a hotkey for something that is accomplished by me closing the lid.
