    Is it possible to remove the speaker bracket on the NP8170?

    I was wondering if its possible to pull out the speaker bracket that goes across the top of the keyboard...I want to clean under it...

    Sure you can. There is a video by XoticPC in youtube, that shows how to get to the 2 internal RAM slots under the keyboard.

    And to do that, they remove the speakers bracket.
