Is it possible to use 6990m's heat sink on a GTX 560m to increase cooling effect?

Just as the title say, is it possible?

Or more general, is it possible to use the heat sink of a higher class GPU (which generates more heat) on a lower class GPU (which generates less heat) to increase cooling effect?

I'm pretty picky on the cooling method, I knew Sager's cooling system is already awesome but just wanna know if it's possible to make it even better. At first I planned to get the P151hm1 but later I changed my mind, it's better to wait for Ivy Bridge/Kepler :p .

Sorry if this is a silly question, I have never owned a laptop with dGPU before so I have no idea...

ive been thinking this too, but this gen(sandy bridge) gpu hs seems no difference between high&low class
    only w880cu's gtx480m heatsink.........that will make 280m/5870m/6970m very cool

and about cpu cooler of p150/170, 170 is copper fin and 150/151 is aluminum, so put 170 one on 150/151 is an idea

Thanks for reply , I wonder if I could use a CPU heat sink of a 17 inches laptop on a 15 inches one.

If possible, I hope the reseller at my place can offer this kind of service, or at least sell separated heat sink :D.

I just think what the cooling result would be if we combine laptop with good original cooling (P151/150hm) + IC Diamond compound + decent laptop cooling pad + good replaced heat sinks (+ maybe good ambient temperature) = best cooling solution for heavy tasks/gaming? :D
