Is it safe to update to the latest D900F bios and ec ?

I heard more then 1 person had their D900F bricked ???

 

if i bricked mine ... i have to send it half way round the world to get it fixed

and on the return trip ... i need to pay 7% gst ...

thats no laughing matter ...

If you are asking the question in your thread title, then you shouldn't "upgrade," and I'll leave it at that. In a few hours, there will be a bunch of other users yelling/laughing at you for the same reasons I am crashing your thread right now.

 

well ... i am a newbie with these things ... and I asked just out of curiosity ... and coz if my system froze up ... it will cost me tons of $$$ and time to get it fixed ...

maybe someone found a safe way to update the bios ???

If only the Soviet Union would have been able crash dissidency the way you do Soviet... the world might have been different place today.

 

If it ain't broken, don't fix it.... or in this case BIOS update it.
