I own Sager NP9170.. I've been receiving multiple hard crashes since installing the latest AMD/Intel drivers. I've since rolled back the drivers, but the hard freezes continue.

The error in question is "Microsoft-windows-kernel-power 41"..
It's not bad RAM. I ran memtest86+ several passes. It's not overheating....

    Could it be the PSU?
It's been "loose" easy to disconnect ever since I purchased it. But, I've never had power flow issues while it's connected. The battery is more or less dead, HW monitor says it's at 66% wear.. Could that be causing the problem? I can still get a good 45mins off the battery, so the PSU being disconnected shouldn't cause the entire laptop to hang.

Download and install WhoCrashed, it will create a more legible dump file and hopefully point to the exact thing causing it.

Can't speak for the PSU without inspecting it, but generally speaking: power issues don't manifest as hard freezes/lock ups in Windows. That's far more likely to be a software conflict.

You can try WhoCrashed, but I believe that's intended to read minidump logs, which probably were not generated.

Have you checked the Windows Event Viewer?

Event Viewer produced several Intel based errors. I uninstalled both AMD/Intel drivers, but the error prosisted.

Luckily I still have the stock drivers that shipped with my laptop. I installed those, installed AMD 15.7 WHQL, and an older Intel driver (153332). I'v been error free now for 4 days. I'm not sure why, but 15.7 WHQL and Intel 4226 just don't work together on my system.

GPU drivers and notebooks don't always play nice together. With desktops they're usually just fine, but notebooks can be finicky.
