Is it worth buying NP5175 (W170HR) now?

    Hi guys,
I haven’t found many discussion threads about this laptop here so does it mean that it’s already obsolete?
I don’t intend to play the newest games, probably “just” strategy games such as HoI 3 where the recommended config. is Intel Pentium IV 2.4 and GeForce 8800 or ATI Radeon X1900. However, for a really enjoyable game I’m sure you need much more powerfull comp. Do you think that the above mention laptop with Intel i7-2630QM and nVidia GT 555M will be suficient?

Btw, I’m base in Canada so it’d be better for me to find a locally based seller. Dou you have any recommendations? I haven’t heard anything nice about Fortnax, so what about reflexnotebook?

It's not an obsolete model, it's still the most current model in the lineup with the 555m. It's just a lower powered model than the P150HM/P151HM1. I'd check out the link below for benchmarks on that card to see if it looks like it'd be a good fit for you. If you need more power, the P151HM1 with the 560m is a good next step.
