    Hi @ALL

I’m trying to get my Card to work with a Max-P Vbios. Tried MSI, HP. They Boot up but behave weird. Driver install with modded Inf don’t Work Propperly. I managed to get it installed but it got installed with a weird Oem ID that clearly is wrong.

Benchmarks Work but AAA Games crash allmost imidietly.

    could it be I bought a Max-Q Version ?
The Seller told me I could use booth vBios.
I attach a Screenshot of my Cards Fets there are some not soldered could this mean it’s a Max-Q ? Are Max-P always equipped with full fets ?

could it be that the Missing Fets let my card be recognized as a random oem for example 27 I had also a oem 31 recognition too.

please help me I’m working on this for 4 Month now.

    thank you all

    What was the original VBIOS?
    Did you save it?

    Thank You Maker@sager,

yes I have full Picture but it’s Bit messie .
Aren’t the missing Fets indicate that it’s a Max-Q. Before purchase everybody told me max-Q and Max-P is the Same Card it’s just the Vbios that is different.

Im desperate I don’t know what else to try. 115w works with no issue.

but I don’t like to leave that much Performance unused.

Hopefully you guys could help me.

I found one Card that has the Missing chips soldered. Could this mean I have a Max-Q. I attach the Picture of a Card I found.

what do you think @Meaker@Sager ?

    Kind Regards.

The missing bits are just capacitors.

From my understanding, there are no "Max-Q" MXM gpus. There are varying TDPs for the Max-P cards.

I'd be more worried about that LM application and a short. Looks like you have tonnes on there!

Plus you can look at the FETs themselves and work out their capacity.

How do I ditermin the Capacity of my Fets ?

I’m releafed that there are no max-q card Reference designs.

Any suggestions or ideas why Max-P Vbios is unstable if Playing AAA titles but stable in Benchmarks ?

why I get wierd oem ID with Max-P bios ?

Thank you all for your Suggestions.
