I am getting this error message in my Event Viewer.

I have no problems going into Disk Manager for some reason.

If I start the Stop and Start the Virtual Disk Service then go into Disk Manager - It would pop up in the Event Viewer

Everytime I restart the Virtual Disk Service and later go into the Disk Manager - It would pop up in the Event Viewer

    I am running a D900F with Win7 64Bit

Does anyone have any idea ???

Doesn't seem likely with that service throwing out the error. It's more likely something else that's supposed to be playing nice with that driver is not. A google on " Event ID: 1 vds basic provider" brings up hits such as this one that suggests it might be a problem related to Roxio software. It also identifies some Microsoft KB articles that might point you in the right direction.

This cached page points to a possible problem with Alcohol 120 (another software similar to Roxio) which appears to have been solved by fully uninstalling the Alcohol 120 stuff.

Have you installed anything similar on your system recently?

Don't be so obtuse. Do you have Roxio on your system? What other sorts of drive-related software have you installed recently?
