I have had my Malibal Lotus NP8130 for 15 days or so now.

While playing games about 20mins into the game the GPU temperature gets upto 93 deg Celsius. Before the game it was at 43 deg celcius.

It constantly remains 87 - 93 deg Celsius during the game. Is this normal or do I need to take care of this?

The config is in my SIG. I play World of Warcraft on ultra setting.

That's the kind of temps I expect from a Dell lol See if turning the fan up helps...

That does seem pretty hot, can you hear you fans speed up? I heard the cooling is supposed to be pretty good on these, make sure you are gaming on a hard surface and the bottom and back can easily breathe.

I played it on a hard surface for about 1 hr on ultra setting

the temp started at 57 deg Celsius and went up to 75deg Celsius. It was always around 70 - 75deg Celsius

Is this a reasonable temp range to be in?

I would definitely say so, its always better to play on a hard surface.

Yea play on a hard surface and make sure nothing is blocking the vents. You see you've reduced your temps a good amount by doing that. You can also try to elevate the back of your laptop to try improve airflow too.

Those are much better temps. The 560m shouldn't get much warmer than 80-85C under full load- mid 70's is preferred. You have to be careful on these machines because the intake fans are on the bottom of the machine and the exhaust is at the rear. Cover any of those fans and your temps can easily skyrocket.
