I've got a Clevo M570TU with the following specs:
Core 2 Extreme X9100
1GB 9800m GTX
4GB DDR3 PC10600 (supertalent)
320GB Hard disk
I've just noticed that in windows Vista experience test the Ram only scores a 5.0, and I've seen older DDR2 score way better than that.
Also my results for Ram benchmarking in Vista and XP (everest Ultimate Edition) are:
Read: 6839 MB/s
Write: 4789 MB/s
Copy: 4799 MB/s
Latency: 80.8 ns
Timings are: 8-8-8-20
It just seems weird that older DDR2 PC6400 can score better than PC10600.
I don't know much about ram but isnt the PCxxxxxx rating meant to be the maximum bandwidth in MB/s?

Use the newest Chipset driver amd flash you bios.
Bios 1.00.10
KBC/EC 1.00.09 -
Can you get the driver and bios from Clevo or do I have to go through a reseller as my resellers (metabox) website is years out of date.

Maybe the RAM is bottlenecked by the processor. The proccesor mut be also able to sustain those speeds.

When I try to update the bios i get this error:
Cannot flash if Memory Managers (e.g EMM386) present
How do I get around this?
Is my Ram performing as it should? (M570TU)
