    I own a Sager Clevo P170EM
-Display: 17.3" FHD 16:9 "Glare Type" Super Clear Ultra Bright LED Glossy Screen (1920x1080)

I'm not sure if it was always there. But I started to notice, that during black screens, and dark backgrounds. The light coming from the 4 corners of the screen was too bright. The screen looks fine when there is color on the screen. But once you add black, it starts looking the back-light is way too bright,

It's hard to explain to I've provided some pictures. I don't think this is normal. Could this be an early sign of the screen going bad? Can this be fixed?

I've done some searching, and this is classified as "backlight bleed"

this isn't my pic, but better illustrates my problem

yup backlight bleeding has been known to happen, nothing to worry about though. ur screen isnt about to crash n burn or anything, u could very well just go ahead, ignore the bleeding and use ur screen as if nothing happened. unless of course this reaaaally bothers u :p

It's fairly prevalent and you'll see a degree of it on a lot of LCD panels these days. Glad you found the answer to it though.
