Hi guys. I'm thinking of getting a p150em with 8970m GPU, but the laptop comes with an nvidia heatsink. I could maybe get a P150SM/P157SM heatsink and backplate along with the GPU, but I don't know if it's compatible with the P150EM. Anyone here knows?

    Thank ye.

Does the 8970m work in the em series? Anyway the heatsink fits.

Eurocom offers it as an upgrade to the P1x0EM machines...

Speaking of the heatsink: are we talking about the one in which heatpipes from both GPU and GDDR+voltage circuitry connect to a single array of fins (the heatsink is a single piece, not split in two)?

Are you in the UK? Because I have a spare P170sm heatsink lying around. I have no idea if it fits

    P1: HM > EM > SM > SM-A

    All heatsinks are interchangeable...

Yes since they share the same major component layout and main compartment. That goes for the 150 and 170 series which can swap heatsinks between each other and generations.
