Is there really a more painful time then after your reseller or builder has confirmed payment and your waiting for them to build your laptop?

Confirmed payment with Myth on Monday afternoon... and I'm already going nuts! :hi2:

Haha it can be pretty painful. I was in process of saying goodbye to my Dell xps M1530 while waiting for my Clevo. I sold it to help pay for new toy.

Wait is worth it! One thing the Dell wins over my Clevo however was a stable hackintosh instal. No LAN/WLAN is a killer, and also no graphics acceleration.as the AMD 6990m isn't supported.

Anyways not sure why I went into that. Just missing my trusty xps I guess :)

You will be full of joy once that Brown truck pulls up your driveway.

I know how you feel man. I got a Nyx 1712 not too long ago from Myth. Excellent service from them, and although the wait is painful, they take good care of that beast before they hand it over to you. The day you get that box will make up for it though, for sure.

Was painful while waiting for my Xplorer X1M and then it was even more painful when I got a call from CyberPowerPC that they don't offer rush order for it so I had to wait another week. :)

Yes, when you're expecting it to be delivered on a certain day and waited around all day for it, and its 8PM and the UPS guy is no where to be found.
You dread seeing the msg "reschedule delivery" or anything of the sort.

I feel ya bro. I'm in the same exact boat now. I paid about a week or so ago and the wait is killing me. I was going to make one of these threads but decided I would just despair on my own. I think I check my build status like 4 times a day to see of theres been any change in it.

Yeah... and now as of last night my only laptop is moving at speeds that may soon approach 0. I've been clicking on links, walking away to do something and then coming back to the computer. After this thread, I'm done. And I only read 2 other threads. lol

You step out for a minute and return home to resume waiting, only to see online that the package has been delivered! ?? You are sure your neighbors somehow signed for it and are about to go ape when your wife gets home and says, "Your laptop came today."

I ordered my notebook from Australia, as I live in New Zealand. It was built relatively quickly (I think within 24 hours of receiving payment - big ups to Logical Blue One!). It took 7 hours from pick up to be processed and sent to Auckland (international, and roughly 22,000kms). So obviously it should take another 6-7 days to go from Auckland to my town (domestic, only 800km).

You open it up, install Windows 7 Ultimate + a bunch of games and play into the sunset... Except that Enduro causes you unimaginable pain and suffering. But that's another (1,000) thread(s).

What's more painful than waiting after your order has been processed? Hmm...how bout sending it back for RMA the next business day cause your screen has serious backlight bleed - and your laptop arrived on a Friday so you'd have to wait til Monday to do anything! Hahha.

I'm just hoping the drivers get released while my laptop is being built and burned in so it will hopefully get here with the new drivers. But if not - I'll be just as happy to install the drivers myself!

Yep. Got home today and had a present for me sitting in the living room. Sucker was packed in the box tight with tons of those foam fillers. My son went crazy swimming in them lol. Laptop works like a dream, downloaded steam and now downloading some choice games. What a great purchase experience, thanks Mythlogic.

I am waiting for my card too. It's kind of painful, but nothing compared to the moment your card is a totally damaged after a few hours of normal use or even worse, when the reseller doesn't answer to your emails (notebookguru/notebookbarebone STAY AWAY). Anyway, i hope this time everything goes the way it should be.

The wait is killing me... Ordered a NP9150/P150HM from GentechPC.
This community has been a great help to me, now it'll be time to give something back.
