No turdbooks either.
I would like to know if anyone has found anyone selling a new 970m 6gb laptop with a desktop skylake processor?
I'm only able to find Eurocom and I may have to cancel my order due to having to get a wire transfer to them since I don't have a credit card and I don't live in Canada. Eurocom is the only reseller so far that doesn't have a stupid high price for it or even sells it from what I know so far.

Most likely the 1060 would end up in a BGA laptop which is not what I'm not going for and unfortunately the desktop replacement laptops with one are out of my affordability for now.
I would go with a 1060 if I could, but most of the games I'll play will run well on ultra settings at 60fps and some recent releases shouldn't be too demanding for me unless I turn down AA, which isn't the setting I would max out.i_pk_pjers_i likes this. -
If there is a problem that cannot be resolved due to lack of a credit card, you can always call and speak to @Donald@HIDevolution and let him know what you are looking for and see what their options are for payment. They can possibly do a custom configuration for you that starts with a barebones. http://www.hidevolution.com/
I agree with @TomJGX that 1060 would be better than 970M.
And, kudos to you for rejecting all BGA turdbooks. They are definitely inferior products. You are wise to refuse to purchase one.Last edited: Oct 24, 2016i_pk_pjers_i likes this.
