My mobo crapped out on me during the worst time possible; finals week. I really need my computer but the repair turn around is too long. I called sager who basically told me it was my problem unless I sent it in. I was just wondering if there was some one or company that could sell me one.

    Thanks in advance

It will be almost impossible to find a motherboard for a NP5796...I hate to be the messenger with bad news, but it would be better to just accept that and make your decisions from there.

I know exactly how you feel, my NP2090 did that during finals week last winter.

I think Sager is quite lacking in the motherboard quality department. You're definitely not the first person I've seen around here with a crapped out motherboard... Good news is you don't lose any data, I guess. :/

Hmmm, I suppose Sager is the only laptop that experiences failed motherboards? :)

The truth is a small percentage of motherboards in ALL laptops fail, and Sager's record is about the same as all the rest.
