Hi all, been playing bf4 a lot recently on my clevo p170em (7970m). The GPU is at full load and when it hits 90 the fans go into overdrive. Never going above 90c when turbo fans kick in, but is this a safe temp for 2-3 hours at a time? Cheers

Nothing dangerous with those temps but just a little higher then ideal. If you havent opened it up and cleaned out the vents and fans with a can of compressed air, do that. That will shave a few degrees off.

Due to the fan profile it will likely bump into 90c and send the fans on full, thats bf4 for you, but cleaning should reduce how often.

Do you have any cooling upgrades? If not, then that's a relatively normal temperature - especially for a game like BF4. If you have upgraded, say, the compound from stock or applied copper heat sinks, then you should be running a bit cooler.

Cleaning the system may help too (reaffirming the suggestion). :)
