    Hello,

I've been lurking this section of the forum for quite some time and finally I will take the call to get a new notebook.

I think I will order from deviltech.de; do you guys know if the devil 5700 model is a clevo barebone?

DevilTech - High Performance Systems - _Gaming# (I hope this link works; if not you can choose notebooks and the model in question is on the very left side)

    thanks,
    leaper

That looks like an MSI GT780DXR. NOT a sager / clevo

The 5700 looks very different than my clevo p150hm. It seems like the DevilTech 9800DTX = Clevo P150HM.

Yeah but it seems the only offer the model without the 560M, any suggestions where to get a P150HM/P151HM1 in europe?

Not that I dislike ATI but I plan to dualboot into linux and for that a nvidia card is prefered.

There appear to be 2 machines with the gtx 570m, which can only be the MSI gt780 or barebones derivative ms-1761.

What nvidia card are you looking for thats better than the 570m? Its really probably not worth it, and interesting that Clevo doesn't offer any laptops with this card.

Since the only better cards, the 485m and the 580m, have a 100w TDP and the 570m only has a 75w TDP, you can likely overclock it to the performance of these cards without even pushing the 100w envelope.

And you know, MSI speakers actually sound good and the keyboard actually makes sense :D just saying.
    But anyway, your choice.
