    Is this a powermizer issue? Or what?

    Recently I've been seeing odd behavior regarding my video card.

    Whenever I play World of Warcraft (haven't tested on any other games) for a good while (usually about an hour), eventually my screen will flicker, minimize WoW, and then maximize again. After it does this, my FPS falls to about 15 constant.

    Eventually, it'll smooth itself out, go back up to 60 without minimizing.

    My max temperature of my video card is 67 degrees Celsius while playing, and my CPU is at 48 degrees max.

    Is this a powermizer issue? Does my computer think that for some reason it should be downclocking?

    Would disabling powermizer help?

    edit: My driver version is 179.28. Official Nvidia.

    That's awfully strange. Have you tried upgrading your drivers? Dox's 181.22 Recommended settings drivers work great for me. Zero issues. Make sure you do a full uninstall with driver sweeper as well, to ensure no issues arise from mixed drivers.

    You could just try disabling Powermizer and find out. (If you've got a bit of time, and it isn't a known issue :|)

    For some reason my anti virus seems to be blocking the usual link to the powermizer program >_>...

    Anyone mind hosting it on megaupload or something? Or if you have a link that'd be great.
