From few days, I am get this 7970 working properly. Maybe they are working properly...maybe they are not.

    I have my doubt because:
    1. GPU-Z never opens.
    2. All tests "seem" to be using Integrated Intel 4000.
    3. AIDA64 software shows Windows Video as Intel 4000.

    On the other hand,
    1. I see 7970m installed in device manager without any exclamation mark.
    2. This test - AMD Radeon HD 7970M video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-3720QM Processor,CLEVO P170EM score: P5897 3DMarks

    So, the questions are:
    1) Is this test AMD Radeon HD 7970M video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-3720QM Processor,CLEVO P170EM score: P5897 3DMarks representing values for 7970m or Integrated graphics?
    2) Is this normal for 7970m?
    3) What other tests/benchmarks/software can I use to verify this?

    Thanks guys

Yeah thats the 7970m, hd4000 would score a 10th of that.

This is expected behaviour with the 7970m with the new clevo laptops as the video cards are switchable between the integrated (intel hd 4000) and main (7970m) video cards. You need to go into catalyst and select a profile for each application to run in, or I believe it will use the integrated card by default.

Also, it is normal that GPU-Z doesn't run as everyone else has reported on these forums.

    Thanks SlaughterLamb about that GPU-Z.

I used stock one. I also had used 12.6 Modded ones; it had similar results.

    Thanks again guys
