Especially if you customise it to your liking.
I love it and even though it's bulky it's still really protable!

Totally 1000000% agreed

Well, this laptop is one of the numerous rebrands of Clevo M570U (for more info see the Clevo guide). And it's certainly one of the greatest 17" laptops.
EDIT : Thread moved to the Clevo section. -
Isn't that just the Clevo m570u?
EDIT: NM, mujtaba beat me to it =P -

I fail to see the point of this thread... -
Let's turn it into a thread praising the virtues of the m570ru instead and why it doesn't offer SLI

Well I'm very sorry but the reason I posted it is I wanted to make sure that noone thought I was mad having purchased the model about three quarters of a year ago. It's still going strong and it's brilliant.
I like the idea of the thread been turned into a thread praising the positive virtues of it. Let's do it!!!!!!!!
I'll start - it's durable, it's got the best laptop keyboard I've ever used and also the touchpad has one of those things on the side for scrolling up and down the page (not that I often use the touchpad though). -
Well, I was actually pointing to the virtues of the soon-to-be-released m570ru (the m570u's "successor" if you will) instead, but the m570u is an amazing machine. I nearly got one from Sager before I decided that 17" would be too large for my needs.

that does look really sweet

Same goes for you, Ronkotus. -

I'm waiting for the m570ru to be released and then I might get it if I can build up enough funds but yeh I have to say that the m570u is amazing and its the best notebook I've ever had. I can see why the 17" widescreen can offend though - I've never had problems carting it about but I suppose if you did loads of air travel or something it could pose a bit of a problem.
Talking about air travel, I found this 110V socket by the seet nearest the door of a 747 and its fully operational in flight. I tried it again on antoher 747 and it still worked! Don't tell anyone I told you though!
Isn't this the coolest laptop ever made?
