So, I just got a P750DM2-G (Sky X4E2 from Eurocom) from @woodzstack and it's great. Love it. However, there is one tiny problem that I'm trying to solve and see if anybody else here has seen/fixed a similar issue:

When I bring my screen to 100% brightness, it stays lit for maybe a second and then dims down-- basically all the way to the lowest brightness. This only seems to happen specifically at 100%, 99% doesn't exhibit the same problem. This obviously wouldn't be a problem for me if it wasn't 100%, because it makes it difficult to use the brightness up/down buttons since they move in increments, maxing at the problem point.

For the power plan I'm using, adaptive brightness is off, so it's not that unless there's some hidden setting I'm not aware of. I've even tried manually setting the brightness to 100% rather than using the up/down key, and the problem still occurs. Here's a GIF of me going up and down from max brightness to illustrate (I apologize for the low quality, I had to do this with my phone and transferring it was a whole thing): http://imgur.com/a/Jx3FJ

Does anybody have any ideas or possible solutions that I could check out for this?

Yeah, that's not right. Might be an issue with the LCD cable or the LCD.

Which BIOS & EC firmware revisions are you running?

    KBC/EC Firmware Revision: 1.06.03EC

VGA Card: NV GeForce GTX 1070
