Hello everyone
I have an issue with my laptop, i have a branded laptop etc etc
Everything basically works fine except, i bought headphones and when i put headphones jack into the laptop i hear music from the headphones as it should be,but when i disconnect the headphones the sound doesn't return to the built in speakers in the laptop, ONLY after restart i can hear sound back from speakers, untill i connect headphones. It really disturbs me as i want to be flexible by connecting and disconnecting the headphones etc ... any idea how could it be?
I have operating system Windows 8
The code of my laptop is X-book 18cl37 if it says anything more ...
Another issue maybe it has something to do with is that my touch sensor keys on the top are not working after installing the windows 8, altough i installed drivers "Hotkey AP 3.3040" they still dont work ... but yeah it doesn't disturb me that much as the sound, which i really need.
Also to notice i have Realtek Audio HD Manager and when i jack out it notices ti and says that my headphones disconnected, so that is not like there still connection or something, and i see that the music is playing.
So any idea what it could be?
Thanks in advance

Are you sure the playback isn't simply being halted/paused? A lot of smartphones will pause playback when you remove any aux device. If your sound non-functional altogether after unplugging, go into your volume control options and your playback devices menus, and make sure nothing is muted or disabled.

Did you refer to the screenshots I posted? If you're running Windows 7, you should find something similar to those by right clicking on your sound icon, and then selecting Playback Devices or Open Volume Mixer.
Aside from checking those settings, try muting and then unmuting (not a word, I know) your audio. But if that doesn't work, refer to the screenshots there and see what your audio levels and options are like. -

Try a clean install of the driver. Go to your Device Manager, and uninstall the sound driver from there (under Sound, video and game controllers). Right click > uninstall driver > confirm.
When you re-install the driver, use the Add New Hardware wizard within Windows to manually install the driver instead of installing from the setup utility.
Hopefully that works.
